Our Clean Colour Specialist
Sophia is a key member of the Absolute Curls team, bringing over a decade of colour expertise, with a focus on textured hair.
Her work is thoughtful and refined — shaped by a background in art and design, and experience across Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and the UK.
As a Clean Colour Specialist, she works exclusively with gentle, non-toxic colour systems, creating results that complement your natural curl pattern rather than working against it.
Every appointment is tailored, considered, and centred around your hair’s health first.

Innersense differs from the rest
Innersense Colour Purity is an exceptional choice because it combines professional-grade performance with clean, non-toxic ingredients. It offers vibrant, long-lasting colour while prioritising hair health by avoiding harsh chemicals like ammonia, resorcinol, and parabens. This means they avoid ingredients that can be drying or damaging, making them especially suited for curls. Instead, Innersense prioritises organic, plant-based ingredients, that nourish and protect the hair. Innersense Colour Purity enhances shine, strengthens hair, and delivers beautiful results without compromising on safety or quality. That's why we use it—because it aligns with our commitment to providing high-quality, healthy, and eco-friendly hair care.
Colour and Curl Health
Myth: Colouring curly hair will always damage curls and ruin their natural texture.
Truth: While it’s true that some traditional dyes can weaken curls due to harsh chemicals, using high-quality, curl-safe products makes a big difference. The Innersense Colour Purity range, for example, is specifically formulated to enhance and preserve natural curl patterns. Free from damaging chemicals like ammonia and resorcinol, it nourishes hair with plant-based ingredients, allowing curls to remain healthy, hydrated, and full of bounce. With the right products and expertise, colouring can actually enhance curls rather than harm them!
